In preparation for the 2012 Olympics, today they practised 'Road Closures' around this area. They're good at that.
While all the roads were closed a bunch of cyclists whizzed through, and they are not easy to photograph! The focus on this shot is about 20 feet behind the rider taking a drink, but you probably (hopefully) can't really tell with this image size.

A Sunday evening back in April. Leica M6, 50mm Summicron (1973-ish), Ilford HP5 and Perceptol at 1+1. And, once again I ended up with what I believe to be a chemical contamination, probably the stop bath. I just don't use enough film these days!

I went to see the Bruce Davidson photographs at Somerset House in London today. We haven't seen very much of his work in the UK recently, so I hope you go and see the exhibition.

This structure was demolished a few years ago. If I had known it was to be demolished I'm sure I would have managed to get back to get some photographs before and during the demolition.

It seems that Inspiration is away on holiday at the moment, so meanwhile here is a snap from several years ago. The area was deserted, so I persuaded my daughter to look around and provide the human interest.
I wouldn't get away with it now.

Fresh chemistry to process HP5 at 1600 in D-76. A dull February afternoon, but quite nice light through a north facing window. No re-occurrence of the white spot on print problem. M3, 35 Lux. Aaah.

I have hardly taken any pictures this year. This is from a roll of Tri-X which I processed in D-76, but not very well by the look of it. A lot of frames are unusable because of what looks like dust (white spots on the positive) but what I suspect is a chemistry problem.
