Watching the firework display marking the end of Regatta week. I thought I was taking a half second exposure, but the camera decided 3 seconds was better. I didn't argue.

Phew! I made it up to Newcastle upon Tyne in time to see the excellent "About The North" exhibition at the lovely Side Gallery, and also the fabulous selection of images by 5 women photographers as part of the "Idea of North" at the Baltic.

Fisherman's hut at Dunwich, Suffolk. This hut used to display a nice metal FISH sign which I think someone stole a few years ago.

I was using a camera with no light meter. Looking at the negative, my own internal meter has gone out of adjustment. Lack of use probably!

I went to the Four Corners Gallery in Bethnal Green to listen to the talk "Half Moon Photography Workshop: the inside story."
The speakers included Mike Goldwater, Ron McCormick, Jennie Matthews and Paul Trevor.
And nice to see Ed Barber remembered on the poster outside. A very interesting story. I never did visit the original Half Moon Gallery but did buy Camerawork magazine for a while.
